20-0591-02 Fuel Rail, S2000, 00-05
This large bore fuel rail features a large 0.69" diameter
internal bore. It uses all 5 OEM mounting bosses. The fuel rail is
machined, anodized, and laser etched for a high quality surface finish.
This basic setup does not include fittings. Replacement vacuum tubing
is included to simplify and eliminate the OEM hard lines during
installation (refer to install instructions).
PORTS AND FITTINGS
The large fuel rail ports are tapped for 8AN ORB fittings. The small
OEM regulator port is also tapped for 1/8 NPT, to be used with a gauge
or a plug when running an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator in a
different location.
Appropriate fittings must be selected based on the specific
application. Ample space around the fuel rail port(s) is necessary for
larger accessories such as fuel pressure regulators, fuel pressure
gauges, and fuel pulse dampers.
20-0091-PK Fuel Rail Plumbing, S2000, 00-05
The plumbing kit permits the fuel rail to be a plug and play
affair. The green 6AN male fitting secures directly to the factory
inverted flare line and the 8AN ORB to 6AN male fitting secures to the
upper rear fuel rail port. The 6AN PTFE line is used as the new feed
line by connecting these two aforementioned fittings. The two 8AN ORB
fittings plug the front and rear fuel rail ports. The OEM fuel pressure
regulator connects to all of the factory lines.
There are two type of fuel rails made by Radium: upgrade rails and top feed conversion rails. Upgrade rails only upgrade the rail and the OEM fuel injectors can be reused. If an upgrade to the injectors is desired, they must be equivalent to the OEM injector, meaning they must be the same height and the upper & lower O-rings must match the OEM diameters and styles. Top feed conversion rails are used to convert a vehicle that has side feed (or sometimes air-assist) injectors over to a top feed injector.
This fuel rail is an upgrade rail. OEM or OEM equivalent injectors must be used.
Radium does not make fuel injector recommendations.
- Consult your tuner for injector brand or flow rate recommendations.
- Consult the injector manufacturer for a part number that has the correct dimensions.
